KTM's alleged interest in signing Stefan Bradl as a test rider has been spoken in the press, but now the rider himself has made it known that he is interested to hear what the austrians have to say... if the offer ever comes to be a reality.
Asked to comment on the subject by SPEEDWEEK.com, the german has admitted to get into negotiations with KTM in the coming months:
- We will see how the next six months go. If there is this interest, we can talk about it at the right moment. Right now there is nothing more to say.
The german, it should be remembered, suspended his career as a full-time rider and in 2019 signed for Repsol Honda, to perform duties as a test rider, a position he has held since then. KTM comes into the picture at a time when Dani Pedrosa is 37 and the other test rider, nordic rider Mika Kallio, is 40. Bradl, meanwhile, has been testing for over three years and recently turned 33.
