Like all individual sports, motorcycling appears to be a sport of individual athletes, but the truth is that there is teamwork - not only in the team behind the athlete but also in their opponents. And in this particular case in MotoGP, Brad Binder does not look at what his rivals are doing - preferring to concentrate fully on what is in the hands of himself and his team.

The South African told SPEEDWEEK.com that looking at what the opposition does is the wrong approach, stressing that it only focuses on itself and the whole structure of which it is a part:

- To be honest, I'm primarily looking after myself. I try to make it a priority to watch my own actions on the track. I don't worry about the others. If you worry about your competitors, you are already looking at the wrong area. I focus entirely on what I can control. So on myself at my side of the pit and on my technical crew. That's the way I want to approach a race weekend and my racing in general.
