This monday arrived at the official rest day of the Dakar 2023, with Charan Moore leading the standings of riders competing without an assistance team – Original by Motul/Malle Moto.
The south african rider, who wears the colors of the HT Rally Raid Husqvarna, has had clear supremacy: in terms of the class, he won the prologue and four of the seven disputed stages. He is now 15m26s ahead of Javi Vega (Pont Grup Yamaha), who also won a lap at Original by Motul.
Mike Wiedemann (Wiedemann Motorsports/KTM) also managed to win a run in the category, but has already abandoned the race. In third is Mário Patrão (Credito Agricola Mario Patrao Motorsport/KTM), already 1h24m35s from the lead. David Pabiska (SP Moto Bohemia Racing/KTM) and David Gaits (Hayppyness Racing Igoa Moto/KTM) follow.
